How To Use Google Assistant With Google Map

You can use Google Assistant with Google Maps to get directions, check traffic, and perform various navigation-related tasks. Here's how to do it:

Using Google Assistant via Voice:

Wake Up Google Assistant: You can typically do this by saying "Hey Google" or "OK Google" if you have voice activation enabled. Alternatively, you can long-press the home button (on Android devices) or use the Google Assistant app.

Ask for Directions or Navigate: You can use voice commands like:

"Give me directions to [destination]."

"Navigate to [destination]."

"How's the traffic to [destination]?"

Follow Google Assistant's Instructions: Google Assistant will provide you with turn-by-turn directions and information about the route. You can use voice commands to ask for alternate routes, check for nearby gas stations, and more.

Using Google Assistant via Google Maps App (Text Input):

Open Google Maps: Launch the Google Maps app on your smartphone.

Type or Tap Microphone Icon: You can either type in your query or tap the microphone icon in the search bar.

Speak or Type Your Query: You can use the same voice commands as mentioned above in text format.

Tap the Suggested Result: Google Maps will provide you with a list of suggested results based on your query. Tap the one that matches your destination.

Start Navigation: Once you've selected a destination, tap the "Directions" button to start navigation.

Follow Directions: Google Maps will provide turn-by-turn directions, and you can interact with Google Assistant by tapping the microphone icon within the Maps app for additional voice commands.

Please note that for Google Assistant to work seamlessly with Google Maps, you should have both apps updated to their latest versions. Additionally, a stable internet connection is required for real-time navigation and traffic information.
